Allow me to reintroduce myself
I’m Brianna Gonzales, the founder of The Social Chica, a platform dedicated to empowering Latina and women entrepreneurs. I’m from Dallas, Texas, and earned my B.S. in Advertising from Texas Tech University in 2019. During college, I turned the challenge of securing an internship into an opportunity and launched The Social Chica to provide marketing services and resources to support minority women business owners.
Since then, I’ve consulted over 60 Latina-owned businesses, helping them tell their stories and grow their media presence. In 2021, I expanded my mission by curating markets, conferences, and grants to foster community, networking, and support. In 2022, The Social Chica was recognized as Best Pop-Up Market by the Dallas Observer.
In April 2023, I opened The Social Chica HQ in Cedar Hill, TX, the first Latina-owned business space and studio in the area. The vision was to open a place for coworking, photography and videography, workshops, and business incubation, designed to help women grow their brands and build meaningful connections. Since then, we’ve evolved, focusing on using the HQ to host community driven workshops, membership opportunities, and content creation services.
I’ve been honored to receive recognition from We All Grow Latina and Capital One, winning the 2023 Amigas in Business Pitch Contest $10K grant. I’ve also delivered over 10 speaking engagements for organizations like SER National, SMU Women’s Symposium, Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, The DEC Network, and UT Arlington.
Through The Social Chica, I’ve been able to raise and distribute over $7,700 in grants, and I remain committed to creating opportunities, amplifying voices, and building a supportive community for women entrepreneurs.
